It's Monday...

Ahhh Mondays. No ones favourite day of the week I'm sure. I've been trying to reply to peoples comments on my posts, but for some reason I can't comment on my own blog! That seems kinda of strange. Does anyone know why this is happening? Well anyways, I just wanted to thank the people who had commented. I don't get much people on my blog and it's always nice to have people appreciate my posts. To Constructive Attitude thanks for the comment. If you want to see really amazing graff. you should check out the Montreal Meeting of Styles. Its really amazing! I've been lucky enough to see it once a few summers ago. I'll post some pics of it soon. Not much going on in the world of me, so I'll sign off for now until something absolutely mind boggling and truly amazing happens in my life!

Happy Monday!

A Sad Day

I haven't posted in a few days. I had a huge BBQ on Sunday and stayed up until about 9 AM the next day. So, suffice it to say I was out almost all day yesterday. I'll get it over with now and say Michael Jackson is being buried today. I find it disgusting that news channels such as CNN are following his coffin to its final resting site. I find it even more disgusting that for the whole day, ALL they have been talking about is Michael Jackson, while there are more pressing issues in the world, like say the situation in Iran, or Obama is in Russia discussing reduction of nuclear stockpiles in the world, or that hundreds of Han Chinese armed with clubs marched through Xinjiang capital. I understand, maybe people want a break from the sad depressing news of people dying and suffering, and another reminder of the current economic state. What I can't stand however, is people profitting from this mans death. I think the memorial was enough. Just let him rest in peace and stop speculation over his life! No one will ever understand him. He was too much of a complex human being for anyone, family included, to understand him The fact that they sold tickets to a memorial event is really sad. While it was beautiful and I bawled my eyes out, I don't think paying for the memorial was right. It was very tacky actually. Also, how did the state of California pay for all that? It cost 3.5 million dollars. Aren't they experiencing the same economic crisis as everyone else. I believe they are at a deficit actually. Anyways, while I totally hated the idea of the media exploiting his death, it was actually a very touching and sad memorial. Quite a celebration of his life.

On another note, I went around town today and took a bunch of pictures (Coming Soon). I was supposed to watch Transformers today, but the show was sold out. Thus, I ended up going around the city and taking pictures, having a great lunch and watching the sun set in front of Nathan Phillips Square. Quite a lovely day. OH ANNNND I bought tickets to the Real Madrid game! SO. EXCITED.

It's Going To Be A Good Weekend

Happy Independence Day to our American neighbors!

I'm extremely happy today. I just finished the work I was assigned (it was really tedious!) and I found cheap tickets in a good section for the Real Madrid game! I'm SO excited. The weather is beautiful outside and my cat is attacking my foot as I write this. My cat's name is Hubert. He's possibly the cutest thing I've ever seen.

See?

I've been wondering what my blog should focus on lately. It is mostly just my random stray thoughts. I want to share things that I enjoy with people as well. Videos, art, architecture etc. I'm sure there are plenty of other blogs similar to this, but this is just a way to put my thoughts out there. I might go crazy if I keep everything locked up in my head!

Happy Saturday!

Dilemma, dilemma

I found 2 tickets to the Real Madrid game here in Toronto. I don't have anyone to go with!! Can you believe that? All my friends are overseas. My own mother isn't going to be here for the game! I'm wondering if anyone in Toronto would want to go to this game with me? You get to meet me!! and make a great friend, and watch some awesome football! They're great seats too. I can't even explain to people how badly I want to go to this game. It would make my summer. No my year the best year ever. (Obsessed much?)

On another note, I finally got some sleep yesterday, although I'm not done my work. Imagine someone sitting in a dimly lit room, staring at floor plans all night mumbling numbers over and over while they counted how many cubicles and offices there are on each floor of a building. Yep. That was me for 2 days. NOT fun.

Anyways, back to work for me. If you know anyone in Toronto that wants to go to the soccer game, let me know!

Happy Friday!!!

All Nighters Suck

I've been up for two days now trying to get this job done. As an architecture student I'm used to staying up for 3 or 4 days in a row. As I haven't done that in a few months, my tolerance has gone down. I'm dead tired!! After I'm done this, I'll have time to focus on my art and photography and get back to finishing my book (The Shadow of the Wind), which is promising so far. I was wondering if anyone has any good books to read for the summer? I want to make a list of books to buy/read. Any ideas? Ask friends and family! I need new material to get lost in!!

Hope you're all having a great day. It is yet again sunny and warm outside while I work. Funny how that happens. Its always nice when you can't go out!

Happy Thursday!

Happy Canada Day!

For those of you who live in Canada or are Canadian...or simply just love us Canucks! HAPPY CANADA DAY!!

Everything is closed today so I can't do much. There are no fireworks or events happening because of the garbage strike currently going on in the city. This really is turning out to be a strange summer. I'm still looking for Real Madrid tickets *sigh*. I think I have to accept at some point I might not be going to this game! (as much as that hurts). Anyways I got work to finish up during this lovely holiday! There is nothing better than sitting at home filling out spreadsheets while its sunny and warm outside! I'll leave you with a video that makes me smile every time!

But I'm Le Tiiiiiiired
